Mitsubishi Motors Momentum 2030 Lineup

Mitsubishi Motors announced that it would be adding a fully electric vehicle to its lineup in 2026. This new model is part of the Momentum 2030 plan that Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. has developed to strengthen the brand’s positioning.

The new EV model will be available in the summer of 2026 in the United States and Canada. Mitsubishi will work with Nissan Motor to build this model, which is based on the next-generation Nissan LEAF. Details about this new model, including its name, will be given in future announcements.

What is Mitsubishi Motors Momentum 2030?

Momentum 2030 is a business plan for Mitsubishi up to 2030. This plan has four main points:

  • Moving toward electrification
  • A renewed product line that is expanded to strengthen the brand’s position in the market
  • A more modern retail sales model
  • Growth in sales and expansion of network

The goal for Mitsubishi is to launch a new vehicle every year between 2026 and 2030 or a model that has seen significant revisions. The first vehicle to meet this goal is the 2025 Outlander SUV.

Electrification will involve a blend of powertrains, including fully electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid models. The new vehicles will be launched across various segments to expand the Mitsubishi reach. Two new vehicles will debut in markets where Mitsubishi vehicles aren’t competing. The goal is to almost double the lineup from what is currently available. More dealerships will be launched into new sales markets with a new design. Technology and innovation will be the basis for Mitsubishi’s processes in sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction.

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is the first model under the Momentum 2030 plan. This three-row SUV features iconic styling with striking details. Upholstery has been updated with premium Semi-Aniline leather seats, while the eight-way power driver seat with memory settings allows you to find the perfect position for your journey. Heated and ventilated front seats provide comfort all year long with reduced noise and vibration for a relaxing ride.

Technology continues to innovate with a 12.3-inch Smartphone-Link Display Audio with Navigation. You can listen to your favorite sounds with the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Ultimate system. You can customize the cargo space with seven-passenger seating. Everyone can get comfortable with Triple-Zone Climate Control, which allows you to adjust the settings for a single space without affecting everyone else.

The 2025 Outlander’s four-cylinder engine has been developed to increase horsepower and maximize fuel efficiency. You have the Drive Mode Selector with multiple options to adapt to whatever terrain you’re on while enjoying a more intuitive drive with electric power steering. The suspension is lightweight while being designed to stabilize and provide support on all your journeys.

As Mitsubishi moves to a new future with Momentum 2030, it’s taking the first step as it introduces a new EV model.
