In addition to founding and operating Don Herring Mitsubishi, Mr. Herring has prioritized supporting groups that provide opportunities and significant benefits to those in need in our communities and the youths and elderly who deserve our assistance. One of his favorite programs is Junior Players, where he served as treasurer for the organization. Junior Players offers young people in our community, who range in age from kindergarteners to high school seniors, the chance to experience the arts and how this passion can alter the course of their lives. The program serves more than 15,000 children from low to moderate-income families and provides an opportunity to discover the artist that lies within them. This year's gala to support the program will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 6 pm CST at Ten10 Events, 1010 N Collins St., Arlington, TX 76011. There is still time for you to be a part of the 70th Anniversary event. The theme is A Night At Studio 70, and you will have the time of your life while knowing you could be helping tomorrow's stars find their way in this world.
Support Don Herring As He Supports Those With MS
Two weekends in April, Don has committed to riding 150 miles each weekend to earn funds for the MS Society. The funds raised by Don's supporters will help fund research and provide care for those with MS, but most of all will let these people know they are not facing their battle against MS alone. Please join in the fight by providing your support to Don and those suffering from MS in our community. Together, we can see that future generations are no longer forced to face the devastation caused by MS.
The Oak Cliff Lions Honor Dr. Elba Garcia
As a long-time active member of the Oak Cliff Lions, Don is excited to join the group to honor the humanitarian efforts of Dr. Elba Garcia on April 2nd of this year. Dr. Garcia is a role model for all as a hard-working mother, wife, dentist, and successful professional who is dedicated to making Dallas a better community for all to enjoy. Tickets are still available for you to join in honoring this stellar member of the community for all she does for our friends and neighbors.

When Don Herring is not working with other supporters of these charities, he can be found working to provide ambulatory trikes for those with mobility issues as a member of Irving AMBUCS or meeting with the North Texas Auto Dealers, where he is board chairman, ensuring that all the auto dealerships in the area work together to meet the needs of those on our community.
