2025 North Texas Auto Show

This past weekend, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas played host to one of the region’s most exciting automotive events, the North Texas Auto Show. Drawing a crowd of nearly 40,000 car enthusiasts, the event showcased more than 650 vehicles, from the sleek 2025 models just hitting the market to timeless classics that still turn heads today.

At the helm of the event was Don Herring, of Don Herring Mitsubishi, serving as the Auto Show Chairman. A staple in the North Texas automotive scene, Don brought not just leadership, but a touch of nostalgia to the event by featuring his own 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, the first of its kind ever sold in Dallas. The 3000GT, a performance icon in its time, drew plenty of admiration from attendees and served as a reminder of Mitsubishi’s enduring presence in automotive innovation.

Don Herring Mitsubishi has long been a trusted name in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. With a mission to serve communities from Irving to Fort Worth, the dealership prides itself on providing a full-service experience grounded in integrity, transparency, and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction. More than just selling cars, the dealership is a community fixture that employs local families, supporting neighborhood initiatives, and helping generations of Texans make smart, confident vehicle choices.

Events like the North Texas Auto Show reinforce just how much local dealerships like Don Herring Mitsubishi matter to the Dallas area. As visitors walked among the latest tech-packed models and admired the powerful lines of vintage cars, they were experiencing the evolution of the industry and the people who have helped drive it forward.

From showcasing the future of transportation to celebrating its storied past, the North Texas Auto Show was a resounding success. Thanks to the leadership of Don Herring and the continued support of the Texas automotive community, it’s clear the road ahead is as bright as ever.
